Why do I occasionally get paid for zero clicks?

Sometimes when I am reviewing my Adsense earnings I see that for a particular channel I will have 0 clicks but earnings of $.01 or $.02.

I suppose I am not complaining about money for nothing but I am curious if others have this happen.

 

either your reports are not fully updated, or more likely, you're getting paid for impressions.

Possible because you haven't set up a channel. So there no way of monitoring it.

It's called eCPM. Depending on the number of impressions.

 

Its called CPM ads which pay for impressions.
