Sooo.. who here knows that REP doesnt work in General Chat?

Just wondering, because in the last 2 weeks I have gotten about 14 GREY reps and I'm starting to think that it doesn't work in the General Chat section?

Maybe more people need to be made aware of this? Just a suggestion?

Sweet didn't know that Everytime I rep someone else in GC I feel like its an insult giving them grey rep LOL... Guess I gotta work to be a "special member"...

That is correct. I don't know where the cutoff is, but members with a substantial amount of green blobs do transmit a small amount of rep in General Chat.

For example, just today I received a few rep points in General Chat from a member with 11 green blobs and another member with 8 blobs. That would suggest that green rep is passed in General Chat at least by those with 8 greens or more. It could be lower, but those are the only two first-hand examples I had available to look at.

I know, that's why if I want to give someone rep I will go to their profile and find one of their other posts in a different section to rep.
