How to prohibit Alexa to show website statistics?!

    I just want to know how we can prohibit Alexa to show websites statistics?

    Is it possible?

    Yes, uninstall the Alexa toolbar ;) As for public stats, you can't, that is how spyware works! Yes, Alexa toolbar is spyware.

    Hum.. I think a way must be exists as same as robots.txt like disallow Google bot ;)

    Alexa doesn't use a web robot like Google, it uses the stats from it's toolbar users, hence the spyware label.

    The real question is....why do you care? Alexa is the most overrated site out there for measuring site performance.
