i recently bought a link on a pr7 site through a site that sells such links, only to find the site fake. who is to blame here the site for faking or the biz for selling the links without checking plus is there anyway to get my cash back
How do you know the site is fake. Did it lose pagerank after the recent pagerank update, if it did then it was not fake it has just lost pagerank. If you purchased the link through a site and the page rank is fake then you need to contact the site requesting a refund, but only if you are certain it was fake. If they refuse to refund then it depends on what you have payed with, if its paypal, google etc then contact them and innitiate their resolution process. If its a credit card then a chargeback.
It would be humorous if you did pay with Google, as they really frown upon the buying & selling of links. Definitely need to do due diligence in the future. I only deal with quality links, if you need some you should contact me (I don't have any PR7 pages for sale though).
Blame yourself. Take it as a lesson learned. Try to contact the seller and see if this can be resolved.
Never trust someone if his offer is too good to be true.If pagerank of the backlink you are buying is more than 6 then there is something wrong there. If they are asking for $1000 or something than maybe that would be true.
