well i m just doing a tok presentation on the topic DOES A MAN HAVE RIGHT TO PULL THE PLUG OF SOMEONES LIFE (EITHER THE PATIENT IS SICK AND ASKING FOR IT OR THE PATIENT IS IN COMA FOR MONTHS AND MONTHS AND THE DOCTOR THINKS ABOUT IT!) WHAT DO YOU THINK REGARDING THIS?
If the patient is asking for it and he is suffering, maybe you can give him the means to pull the plug himself. If he is in a coma, I don't think so, it won't be different from murder.
If the patient is sufering to much and whant's it YES why not ? Would you love sufering many months ?
It has thing to do with faith, hard to find exact answers, similar to; do you support abortion or do you believe in God
but what about the pain that the patient might be feeling..... or what if there are 2 patients and there are chances of the other person to survive.... and if only one could be saved!
That is for the patient to decide, if the patient couldn't decide the decision would have to be made by friends or family (more often friends know the person better than family), they would do whatever they think the decision of the patient would be.
Decision concerning this irreversible matter is only in God power...and patient's hands...leaving a note or something...he knows the best...although I'm not for something like this...plugging off by family, friends or doctors is also not in what I believe in, sorry
If they are alert and asking for it, that's one thing. If they in a coma and may come out of it, that's a whole different ballgame.
It's a faith thing more than anything. If a guy pulls it himself he's supposedly committing suicide which is a no no for the guy above from what I understand. If you pull it you are murdering someone weather he asks for it or not. This is also a no no from God. It sucks but I think sometimes you've just got to dope people up with drugs and let nature take its course.
