brainstormingin: depends on the company (doing the popups) Also, we're opening submissions to get listed on www.chavstar.com (popular pr3 proxy listing new proxies). we list everyone (as long as the proxy works!). Please visit http://www.chavstar.com/addyourproxy/ to get added!
Well I have 11 on it and I still cant access that area. Where did it say you needed 10? I dont see that any place
I submitted my site to some directory's a few days ago and my traffic increased from 34 unique visitors at Tuesday to 600 yesterday. My proxy still is brandnew so let's hope my traffic keeps increasing like this.
O hell never mind I see a thread now you have to have 30 posts. Hell there are only so many things you can say about a proxy. 30 posts in a proxy could take a while.
I have a great opportunity for proxy owners right here. I am selling my group. Anyone interested can stop by and give it a try: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=694311
@llama----that is great news! Where did you hear it? My eCPM has actually trended a bit higher on canep than Adbrite. And with the lag time to get paid from Adbrite, I might abandon them altogether on my proxies!
I am not sure how hard the process would be for them to roll this feature / service out to their customers, but I will be glad to see it implemented.
Waaahhhh! My disk usage is suddenly full . The disk space is 1 GB and had 9 proxies. (Bandwidth usage for this mth is already 15GB out of available 25GB ) How can the disk be used up when the program files for 9 proxies is probably only less than 20MB? Are those additional files that suddenly appear Log files that can be deleted? I am new to this stuff so can someone advise to remove those files that suddenly grow. Also had sudden jump for just yesterday for 1 proxy www.byip.info 17,000 impressions ( $1.50 revenue) and only 8 visitors but 71000 pages and 1.3 GB bandwidth used. Is this those unwanted visitors that jam up bandwidth and how do I check and remove their IPs? I am a non-techie so would appreciate any technical help Thanks
Q1 would be the first quarter of 2008, which means the first 3 months. They will probably implement PayPal until the end of March. Do you use caching? Cache files may take up your space quickly. Log files may be the other reason. Just go to your file manager/ftp and check which files are so big or unnecessary. Also, 8 visitors but 72k page impressions? This must be an automated software/bot using your proxy. Or other popular proxies doing some hard hotlinking. Did you disabled it?
