You don't have to figuring out what he is doing..he had 1.5 steps to make his method working. He gave out basic idea which you need to test, comes up with your own..which might take some time.

it is all about testing and more testing until you got the jackpot then move on to other niche.

He already said he tried names of music artists/bands and they didn't convert. His traffic is not niche related whatsoever.

Do your trends continue every day? Are you putting as much (or more) time per day working on the sites?

The trend has been solid for about 4-5 weeks now with a steady increase. Had my first $2,000 day yesterday (on a $800 Adwords spend).

Honestly, I've gotten somewhat lazy. I have my few good niches, and essentially all my eggs in one basket for now. I suppose if everything were to come crashing down I would learn my lesson to scale, get more traffic sources, and spread it around.

But, over the past 1-2 weeks I've slowly moved into 2 other types of offers, one which is pulling an additional several $xxx a day and needs scaling, and the other which hasn't been that great (CursorMania toolbar).

Great information. I will be experimenting with Adwords soon. Not for affiliate marketing but I may try that in the future.

I think a good part of his success is getting all those targeted clicks, especially from the content network. 50k a week is insane, even for reguar SEO. I've been messing around with the content network...not much luck though...lots of impressions...not very many clicks :(

    Aj22,
On adword, you use cheap keyword right? How do you find cheap keyword? Is there any tool to determine the price of a keyword. Also, if you want to spend 0.50 on the keyword "catfood", but the keyword lowest bid is 0.90. Do you increase your bid? or do you say "catfood" can burn to ashes (i mean you dump the keyword)

    Congrats on your earnings.

Experiment. Search and Content are very different. If you want more impressions on certain ad groups, up their bid.

    Using your method of:

"irrelevant adgroup" ----->"irrelevant landing page"--->"ringtones landing page" -----> "ringtones - merchant"

How many different irrelevant niches did you test before you got ringtones to convert?

What I mean is, this time you got the irrelevant niche "catfood" to convert to ringtones. How many irrelevant niches did you test before you got ringtones to convert?

I'm surprised that this is working, do you think you just got lucky? Since this isn't really a concrete formula way of doing things. I always hear people of saying to think outside the box and this must be what they're referring to.

Kind of how you say, youv'e been following the book for years and hasn't worked. I'm always trying to find a concrete way of doing things so that I have a stable foundation in my skills, so that I can go to any niche and promote it and be successful. The one thing that I try to avoid is trying to just get "lucky". To me luck and skill are two different things. Especially if you want to build a stable business. Do you think your method will work with any offer, just keep testing offer after offer until you can get it to convert?

I'm going to try your method on an offer I'm promoting but the niches are still going to be kind of relevant.

Congrats on your money and keep up the good work. You have said way too much in this thread and you continue to help, you deserve your reward.

I don't think it's luck. I tried many many niches. I have about a dozen driving this traffic, one or two which provide the bulk though.

I'm not sure if this method would work on other offers. Cell phones are an ubiquitous part of society - they are everywhere. Ringtones are (or can be made) an impulse purchase to almost any audience.

I'm not sure what offer you're going to try this on. I don't really see it working on say tax leads, diet pills or dating. But you seem creative, so good luck and let me know how it turns out.

    Edit: One correction though:

"irrelevant adgroup" ----->"irrelevant landing page"--->"ringtones landing page" -----> "ringtones - merchant"

the irrelevant landing page is relevant to the ad group
