I am new to the affiliate marketing. I do not own a website or anything. I dont know what I can do to make the money like you guys have been doing. I am willing to buy a website, but I just don't know what to make to have people come to it. Also, not sure if I even need a website? I am not totally sure how this whole affiliate networking works out. If anyone could give me some pointers or point me in the right direction. Any help would be great. I appreciate it. PM me or reply here. Thanks again.
Well you definately don't need to go buying a website. You can certainly make money creating one from scratch, either the traditional way or by having a blog. You don't even need to have a website to earn online, quite often a domain name is sufficient. If you do choose to create a website you must create plenty of unique content, and then promote it by any means you can; link exchanges, article directories, ppc, the list is endless. The affiliate program in the second link in my signature give a step by step guide on how to make money online. I would suggest any newbie to check it out.
Rule number 1: All the informations you need to get started are available for free, on DP Rule number 2: Never ever click on signature links, they are evil welcome on board
You can absolutely get some free blogs going on blogger.com and then join Commission Junction and Linkshare. Apply to a few hundred programs, and once you are accepted you can grab the html or javascript code for the banner you wish to use and put in your blog template in the sidebar or around the site layout. Then start off by saying "Welcome to me new blog about Computers" etc, etc...Then you can start doing things like product reviews for the products that the merchant sells. The more pages of unique content you add to your blog/site the more the search eninges will spider it and rank it. You can submit your RSS feed to pingoat.com. And you are in the game. It of course takes a lot of hard work, but over time you can build up hundreds if not thousands of pages on your blogs in order to generate clicks for your merchants.
I would just start of with a simple Wordpress blog. Sign up for hosting with Hostgator.com. 7.95 per month. Buy a domain name. Hostgator has an autoinstaller to help you install wordpress properly. once it's up and running, then you can experiment with a different affiliate programs. I would also make sure you promote your blog in any way that you can. that's the easiest and cheapest way that I know to get started without having to have major website design skills or lots of money. Also, try to have a topic that you know a bit about that you can write something on everyday.
If something interests you (especially if it makes you money) you'll be more apt to write about it every day, increasing your chances of Search engine spidering. Lots of people start out blogs and then abandon them because they have no interest in what they are promoting. Just a thought
Pam, you are so right. Many people start blogs, but the key is to update them daily with a new post or even a sentence of unique content.
What's DP? Ok, so I need a website. I can create it about anything? I am really into making beats/producing. So maybe talk about music equipment and like music and stuff like that? I plan on having my own personal website of my beats/productions. I guess I just gotta have an idea of what kind of site I want, then go to blogger.com. Then sign up for affiliate networks? Then post links given to me by the affiliate on my site? The stuff the affiliate networks give me, does it have to be related to my site? Could someone show me an example of a blog and has affiliate network links on it etc? Thanks again.
Hi! This is a french company with sale page to promote on traffic exchange or other legal way. So you don't need a website. See this topic http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=693797 or click below It's 100% free. for international people.
If you are into the music business, you should set up a blog with your productions and look for affiliate programs like guitar center's or something like that. Then you should go on music business related websites like futureproducers.com and promote you blog. This way, you will have 2 streams of income, production and affiliate programs. Besides, producers always want to know what other producers are doing.... You can also post your productions on youtube with a link to your blog...
