Sure, yeah thats good advice to anyone, wait until the program really kicks off and proxy's yeah ideal or another would be free hosting sites that display ads theres loads of sites that this program will run on without deterring visitors
What thsadmin amd deatfromabove said. And on top of that, how many finicky visitors are possibly turned away in the process with this sound ad that these spammers are pushing like a hooker pushing her stuff on the corner of Elm and Smith? In the long run, is it really worth it when just as much, if not more money can be made with an ad that doesn't make a fucking peep? You have to keep that in mnind, also. Yeah, WOW, my nipples are getting hard I'm so excited. Sales copy isn't your forte, is it?
Perry give it a rest, you made your feelings well know at this stage, your a hopeless case in trying to see reason.
I think it works well with certain sites and sucks for others. I think it would be a bad idea for Google to have it on their site, but would be a good idea for a bittorrent site. When you are giving away something valuable, you should get compensated for it in some kind of way. Visitors will understand especially the leechers.
Yeah, thats another good idea torrent sites. This is also something that will spark of trashing post, but are your aware of Googles labs.google.com well its been suggested that indeed Google may be the search engine involved in this program, you can draw your own conclusions from the terms and conditions on the sign up page for this program.
Tell me about it, it varies from site to site, I find that the popualr ad's like Celebrities, sexy ad's etc. get a high CTR but pay jack shit, where as if I place higher paying neiches such as weight loss, credit cards etc. the price of click is higher but the CTR reduces greatly - so it evens out.
Don't drop what you normal do with regards to SEO or Advertising, its going to take some time before the program is running a full capacity.
Yeah, I've heard the rumor which could explain why the search engine wanted to distance themselves. They rarely associate themselves with something unless they outright own it. I remember what happened to GrandCentral. I did hear about the Search engine wanting to buy them out, but Larry Host refused. Since the ads are playing, I now consider what Charles Heflin is saying as credible. We'll just have to wait and see. They probably won't comment on the TOS. All steady money is good money. So I guess the only thing left to do is to build more of them. Personally, I don't know if I can get myself to work on anything that I'm not interested in. I guess if you got a nice timetable in your head on when and how revenue starts rolling in, then I figure its probably automatic pilot for you. Don't worry about your sites. Just focus on getting referrals. When they fully ramp up, you can buy usa traffic for $2 cpm and make a profit everytime. I lucked out and snagged a bittorrent site on my 3rd tier. The code is on 38,000 webpages and growing. The guy gets like 200,000 hits a day and growing. Only 5700 ads played on his site. I pocketed $3.86 from that. When they fully ramp up, I won't know what to do with myself. The moral of the story is get a good downline so you won't have to work so hard to get paid. Find the owners and convince them to jump on board. Just land one good one and you'll be set.
I have joined PPP and believe that it's good on certain types of sites. You can be selective on which sites you put the code on and also how many pages within the site. The ads are spaced out. If someone clicks on your 2nd page in under I believe its 3 minutes, they will not hear another audio ad until after the 3 minutes from that site. This is so that they don't make the visitor mad and leave. I'm willing to try it. I'm already making some small change daily.
I think it's a good idea... however I read some bad things about the company. I don't remember where... it basically said that they were doing a relaunch under their new "Pay Per Play" name... but they never payed their previous affiliates! Anyone know something else?
I heard that new owners took over the company, so I don't know if its the same people. Either way, if they fail this time, I don't see a part 3 in the works. Also, I heard that they were scheduled to pay the past affiliates but they don't get to keep the most valuable part which is the downline. Obviously, people are watching this very carefully.
Do you think that TV got worse when sound was added? I'm sure some people did... Businesses will use this advertising, because it is effective. If the website has quality content, the visitors will stay. They might turn down the volume, but the will not leave, if the content is what they are looking for. The ads are also contextually related so they will not be just random ads that have no interest to the visitor.
Well, it looks like they are putting the clamps down. Someone signed up under me and said they are waiting for approval. When I got in, there was no such thing. Looks like things are changing. I guess it will get harder and harder to get in as time passes.
Regarding the advertising, I think it's actually quite brilliant... the problem is the shady rumors about the company behind it. Hope they turn out to be legit... but I'm not holding my breath
Breaking news from Charles Heflin himself. I made a thread at the ppp forum about getting paid and this is what he said:
Wow, I found an infraction in my email today for (several days after) starting a thread. I had not checked this post because I just wanted to give people a heads up about PPP and the fact that they had started serving and posting so everyone could look and decide for themselves. Looks like PPP is a hotly debated subject. Personally, I'm real happy with PPP and I think LOTS of people are going to change their minds in a month or two. ...seriously considering changing my nick to Forest Gump
