[Feedback] What's up with www.digitalpoint.com

www.digitalpoint.com feels like an abandoned site from 1990's. I'm interested to know if it's still alive, and if so why not spice it up a little or change it into a portal?

I completely agree it's the forum that matters. I just feels like a completely different site. At first I thought it was some DNS issue lol.

Design isn't everything. DP's services and tools are still A+. :D

And digitalpoint is still liked by Google, even for the design, so why does it matter? :D

It would be a terrible loss if Shawn ever updated the digitalpoint.com site.
C'mon, who doesn't love this guy:

How many people actually visit the main site?

And if it was a redesign, they should change the forums and the site so they actually look the same.

Some things are best left untouched. Like the forum, the design is basic. But i reckon many would be angry if it was changed.

But the design is a little off, though. Especially for our times, and the success of the name itself.

Some things are good to be old. If it looked new as the other sites that are comming out, it would all match

Personally I think both the forums and the main site need a little bit of attention, but there would probably be people who complained that didn't like the new look (as what always happens when people who don't like change are involved).

If that guy has been in the water since the 90's, he's gonna have some really wrinkly feet and a wicked sunburn on his bald head!

I suggest you guys forget about the portal and concentrate on fixing the forums reputation for at the moment its a scammers paradise until users can feel sure that they will not be ripped of or at least have moderaters that care enough to put measures in place- that discourage it- how can you expect to have a credible site Ive just been ripped of in the domain sales thread I am to scared to make an issue of it incase some brown nose accuses me of being to hard on the overworked mods!
