"EMAIL FRIENDS SCRIPT" First thing what I thought will be very good to make "email friend" script, same as in social websites. User can enter manually friend emails, or give email, and it's password, to email friends. So I got a freelancer and he developed solution: Here is screenshot, take a look: Guess if that works? Not much... Currently something like 150 users viewed that page, and only 2 friends has been mailed out. Let's discuss why people not mailing others? My guess would be that our website does not have credibility it needs. Maybe better ligter and whiter design, and better copyright would build that credibility. What You think? SEND PERSONALIZED EGREETING WITH PHOTO Another viral technic I thought is to let users send personalized egreeting card with their photo, to their friends, and also let them send "mass egreeting". Then they enter some emails, or give access to their email to send mass greeting. Here is a screenshot, how greetings would look. What You think? Would You send such a greetings to Your friends? Is this good idea for image hosting, or I will compete with well established egreetings companies? VIRAL MARKETING: YOUR PHOTO JUST BEEN RATED How about this idea, when user photos are rated, send them an email, and show who is rated photo, and how much points they got. For implementing it i would need 1. Create special webpage for users where they see last ratings of their photos uploaded. 2. When someone rates their image, send to a user email saying that their photo just been rated. And if logged in user rated their photo, give a link to their photos too. Here is another idea that is very easy to implement. Let's say someone likes the image they just viewed. Have a link that would say "this images is from bla gallery" - something like this - the link is above the image. This way you will get people to browse the galleries. my2c.

Huo Yang, Usually freelancers quite 30$ minimum for anything small. I usually, think more things, that I need, then make very clear documentation, and let them quote me 100$. Another DP user Dj_Flush, also asked me of ZIP changes, he said he have a friend programmer. So maybe his friend for small cash can update Your website too? I delivered him main zip function. baumann93, I was thinking about similar concept too. Very useful article, spending one hour to read them all and it's great, so here is my question What is the best image hosting script? I have develop several websites that earn 500$/month from adsense and i spend almost 0 hour/day on it but it's not image hosting site and it's not any auto-update blog too. Now i love to play with image hosting biz.

i see u are doing very great job, damn how do u manage to get uploaders, i do uploading pics on celeb forums, i also uploading images at funny image forums, a lot of page views but none start uploading own pictures + can you tell me about how much is your normal price for click (adsense), i get 0.12 for 7clicks dont know if that is rly ok... LOL it was your expereince of filtering though 600 porns which put me off the concept. Keep up the good thread, I (aprenctice) might get into Image Hosting after learning from the "Master"
