    Possible reasons:

    - Regular visitors see the same ads over and over again.
    - Too many ad units and not enough advertizers in your niche: this lets cheap MFA sites to sneak into your ad-space, and their poor quality ads decrease your CTR.
    - Your clicks are not converting well, advertisers are not happy and pay less: this lets cheaper and poorer ads into your ad-space, and decreases your CTR.
    - and so on... many possible reasons.

Adsense has been a bit quirky for a number of people over the last month. I noticed on my site that CTR was falling and falling as well as CPC which did the same making me earn about 1/4 to 1/5th of what I should be.

I used the competitive ad filter to fix the CPC problem and that's all good now. CTR, I am just waiting it out another couple of weeks.

My site as been up and down it depends a lot on the traffic. But if you traffic maintained you have 2 cases:
    - no more adds do display and you´re getting MFA so the users don´t click it.
    - you´re getting the same visitors which already have visited all adds.

As Shakas says, maybe a lot of your visitors are returning visits, and so they are a lot less likely to click your ad's!

Don´t forget also, that you can still having the same amount of visitors but from a different source...ex: before links, now google.

The best way to analyze your problem is that you show us the traffic (sources assuming the number it´s about the same) and the CTR from a week before that behavior to the current day

70% of my visitors are daily repeat visitors.

I find that once my site became popular, my CTR went down.

The solution for me was to find alternative methods of monetizing my website (Adsense is still a part of that equation).

Get affiliates - and/or sell your own products. That will work, as you seem to have loyal audience.

Think about setting up "membership site" as well.

Maybe your visitors become ad blind?
Did you try to change the colors and / or the position of the ads?

Try to blend the background color of your ad to the background color of your site. By this technique, visitors will not think that it's an ads from google.

Maybe your content is too good that they only want to read what you have wrote and not click ads?

some use proxies and don't see any scripts because some proxies are build in with this option "remove scripts" but this visitors can be only 5% ...
