here's something that I noticed the other day AJ, when I use the accelerated model of showing my ads in adwords as opposed to using the option to evenly show them over the course of the whole day, my conversions drop off. When i switch it back to show them evenly over the course of the day, conversions pick back up. Have you noticed this? Does google rely on broad matching more when you do the accelerated model in your opinion, showing your ad to unrelated queries?

Not sure, although I've never noticed any difference whatsoever on Content Network with accelerated.

    aj22,

Hi. First of all, congratulations on all of your success! I just had a question for you about landing pages. Do you find that a professional looking template converts better or do you try to keep it really simple as not to distract the visitor?

    Thanks! :)

I go for a professional yet simple look. I'm big on the Web 2.0 gradients and shadows and big easy to read text and images.

Wait a minute AJ, if you're getting about 50k hits a week, are all those hits on like one particular website or spread out through different niches?

Hey aj22! I don't have any questions. I just wanted to say congratulations, and I sincerely hope you hit your $5000/day goal! :D

I've been doing internet marketing for over a year and a half now with little to show for it. I've recently started the PPC game after some not-so-good PPC experiences nearly a year ago. Now I'm still getting some mixed results but it's better than before. I hope in a year I'm making half as much as you are right now. :p

    Keep it up!

I tried to launch my own version of this idea but it looks like I went a bit to grand. Cheap keywords are the KEY to making this work. I am going to try again this weekend with a different approach.

So I've been trying to figure out what you're doing and I can't.

You say you pay on some low bid keywords and manage to get people to do something like purchase ringtones.

There has to be some type of incentive. No person is going to go to a site and then click on a banner/link to get some ringtones.

The only thing that I can think of is you're getting visitors to a site like 'akon music' and then offering akon ringtones.
