Wow Tim these pictures are awesome.. I just keep finding more and more of them.. brilliant stuff. When do you get time to sleep..
I take random 5.37 min naps throughout the day and I'm actually still months behind on editing photos though been making a pretty solid push here lately though
all the pink ones were taken @ ISO1000...won't be doing that again., I think anything over 400 is too grainy
thanks! getting to the end of this batch. next up I will incorporate more than 1 flash unit....start with 2 and then see how it goes from there!
last batch from this set. I'm excited to do the next batch. One of my photo buddies has really taken it up a notch!
one thing I was loving about this next round, the little trailers....streaks of mini drops firing off from the main impact
stupid shareapic put these out of order...they're messing with my system! anyone ever had trouble with the images loading? I was told they are getting new servers soon
I love what you are doing with the colors, Tim! How are you doing it? Is it lighted differently or something? Have you tried any of these in B&W? I'm not usually a big fan of B&W photos, but it might work well for this...
1) thank you 2) stop reading my mind 3) see below :-D I tried a B&W one for the first time, just to shake it up a little. I love the 2nd one, looks like either a chair or a dude rising up out of the water! The multicolored bottom in the 3rd is actually from construction paper, the bottom of the bowl is transparent and I was throwing the different colored paper in there for some different tones and hues :-D
I think more than the drops sometimes I was loving the colors and patterns of the water, like in the background of this first one.
oh! no! too late, I think this is the last one I did that way though! 1) a rare portrait shot (long ways up & down) 2) hue shift! 3) another B&W alien space ship drop! 4) not quite B&W
Those look ace How do you set up doing pics like this? I'd love to start trying to do this, even if my attempt isn't that great... What do you drop in the water too?
thanks TS!!! what I'll do is take a picture of the setup the next time I shoot a set, that would be 4.475 times easier than me trying to explain it....and then of course i'll explain the settings and so on. -------------------- some more, no drop on the 1st one, I was just loving the ripple and colors. 2, looks like an electric hand rising from the water! last one, check out the tiny drop far right, hovering on the surface...it even casts a shadow!!
Cheers It'll be good to know how to set up doing some shots like this, then maybe i'll show some of my own here That 2nd one looks amazing, I love it. No idea what I would use it for, but still...
