How often does the alexa rank update???

Hi members, i was wondering whether there was a time limit set to how long it takes for Alexa rank to update. I am asking this as my website keeps updating continuously once a week if not twice.
Also whether there is a general rule for the price that websites would be sold for going off the Alexa rank only.

For example rank 700,000 - $200
600,00 - $250

I am not sure if this is available and doubt it would be accurate if it was, but still would be interesting to look at.

I believe it updates on Monday or Tuesday of every week.

Alexa rnk means noithing when it comes to site sales.

 

Because of the way alexa ranking works, its not worth basing the price of a site on its alexa ranking, you have to combine it with lots of other factors. A site in theory can have an alexa rank of 1 and have a google pagerank of 0. Alexa analysis traffic, and traffic is easy to get if you want to and for free in many cases.

 

Pretty often even every week.
