It benefits both you and Google to have the highest paying ads showing up on your page." so, if I put 3 ad units, and 3 link units(3+3=6 ads) on one page, then I will be paid less per click in contrast to if I only put 3 ads per page
Thanks for this comprehensive list Funny thing about tip 5. It's a tip that you'll find on most adsense guides. But I had a site that the adsense CTR was pretty poor. The ads were formatted to look like part of the page ie using similar colours to my content. So I decided to change things and put my adsense ads in bright red font and my CTR went up and it has remained up. So blending is a good tip but do not be afraid to test things
