The problem with Adsense is that it places intrusive advertising on your website, which is a huge turn-off for many people. There is a better, less intrusive way of monetizing your website. Instead of monetizing your website with advertising, try placing targeted product links at the tail end of relevant content. For example, if your website or blog has published an article on marketing, create a direct link at the end of the article that gives readers the opportunity to purchase a marketing product that is closely related to the topic of the article. And even if you don't own your own products, you can still utilize this method of monetizing your site by linking your articles directly to affiliate products and earn money that way. Chances are, you'll probably make more money with affiliate products than you will with Adsense. The key to making money with this method of monetizing your website is to write a compelling, benefit-laden link that makes the reader want to click on it for more information. For example, suppose your marketing article was about writing effective headlines. You'd want your link to read something like this: "Learn How To Instantly Create Magical Headlines That Make Money!" I completely agree.I've found that less google adsense ads on a page the better conversion. Ending your blog post/article with a link to a related post or product leads the reader to more relevant content $$$
There are other alternatives available for adsense like azoogle, kontera, chitika, adbrite etc to monetize your site
You can also consider PLR ebooks and get the money straight into your Paypal. If you have a website on weight loss, consider a few PLR out there on dieting, workout, etc... convert them into PDF and sell them for $5, $6 or $7.
Don't bother yourself by joining ebook affiliate program. I see that many ebook sellers actually are people who buy the ebook themselves then they rewrite it before they sell it. Become a publisher if you want, don't become an affiliate (there is no copyright thing if you rewrite an ebook written by individuals). However, this is unethical. I just sharing a technique though. Personally, I sell real products or become affiliate of real products. I never sell any ebooks or become ebook affiliates. ebooks usually are crap.
I'd suggest you audio ads. They play 5 seconds for each visitor only once. and you get paid for every visitor. if you have big amount of traffic, it is very good way to get more money from your website, because you can use such audio ads with adsense, kinks and other ones. check here, if interested
I would definitely stay away from PLR content, unless you have the ability to drastically rewrite the content. And if you have that kind of ability, why not write your own e-book? Dale King
