I recently came by 1500USD I didn't know I had! In poker affiliate commissions from offline marketing! Easily the most money I have made online. And the best thing is, I worked the least for it! For reasons I can't reveal though, its unrepeatable unfortunately. I'm going to reinvest all of it in into business, but what to spend it on, I have no idea? I currently do list building, ebook creation, article marketing. But I don't really want to outsource article marketing and ghostwriting because I think the quality is not very good in my own experience. And copywriting would swallow the entire budget. So what else do you suggest I spend it on? Invest in some sites with recurring income? Domains? If you had the dosh, what would you do? What can give me the biggest leverage, or bang per buck?
If you don't want to hire article writers then get some links, advertise your business and save some of it (if you can).
I would weigh in on the use it for advertising as well side ... Money invested back into a business ... if done wisely ... rarely fails ...
Rolf, Have you thought about PPC or have you ever done it in the past? If you have a lot of knowledge about it, you could turn your $1500.00 in to a lot more.
Yeah unfortunately I don't think that my existing sites will convert well any spend on traffic. As for PPC, I have tried it and failed in the past though of course I did not risk much money. Even with this amount of cash, I'm still loathe to risk it and would rather put it into something I know will give me a recurring income. Perhaps half on an established low maintenance site and half on a new project.....?
Thats a lot of money. I i were you i invest the money in other website ventures or maybe you can do website flipping.
Buy some site with little to no income, develop it and then sell it. With $1500 you will be able to start a few projects.
Have to agree with you on this one. I've spent quite a bit of money on mediocre ghostwriting. I usually end up just rewriting it myself. I would probably look at investing in a couple of other complimentary websites to increase my reach within whatever niche market I am currently in. $1500 would go a long way to setting up a couple sites that build upon my core business. I believe in going deep in a market instead of wide. Of course, most of my monetization is from selling products and services instead of residual income.
Choose a niche market... and build your list. Use coregistration leads, ezine advertising and classified advertising. You can easily turn that into $15,000. For example if you build a list of 5,000 subscribers every month you will make money by selling to it. Thats my two cents.
