Search Engine Keyword Monitor Tool

Today I've found that I can track my keywords, to see if they go up or down, and see my SEO efforts with keyword tracker, a tool provided by DigitalPoint. First I was quite excited about this, but after that I've found that to use this tool you need a Google SOAP Api Key, and they are don't available anymore.

Now I would like to know what are other good free & paid tools to track your search engines rankings for specific keywords ?

    Thanks

I believe you're meant to use an API key so that everyone isn't pounding google with requests. Last time i was checking into this, most people said that any tools that query google without an API key are causing risk to your sites.
That could include the 2 tools listed here?
