2 questions 1) Am I correct that if I create a jpg with text in it that the Search Engines don't see that text? 2) My site focuses on a single manufacturer's product line, which has about 10 products with different upgrades. (Yes, it cars.) Is it okay to have the manufactuer's name repeated with every model (e.g. Chevy Cobalt, Chevy Suburban, etc). My concern is that I have read that in choosing keywords, you stay away from too many total keywords and too much repetition of the same word.
As for the text in your jpg, Yes, SE's WONT see that as a text. You have to use "alt" tags to put your keywords on that particular picture. And as for the keywords you mentioned, try combining different anchor text such as Chevy Cobalt, 2007 Chevrolet Suburban, etc. Avoid stuffing your keywords in one sentence. That could serve as a black hat technique or keyword stuffing.
