I own http://www.acnetreatmentsplus.com Could anyone review my site and see if there is something I am missing SEO wise. I am not ranking for any of my keywords in MSN, Google, or Yahoo.
For starters, you're in a SUPER Competitive market I assume your targeted key word is acne treatment There are over 8,000,000 pages optimized with that same key word The top results have hundreds of backlinks (as seen in google) you only have 9 backlinks You probably have a better chance at winning the lottery than ranking high for that key word If I were you I would optimise the site for Long Tail Key words like over the counter acne treatment You stand a much better chance at ranking well that way
You are using very competitive keyword in the beginning. You have not sufficient back links to achieve on top by this keyword. The suggestion was right long tail keyword might helpful. Also directory submission and article distribution are helpful. Add text in meta description and add your main keywords in it. Keyword density will be helpful in yahoo and you will get good rank.
find a few hundred related keyword phrases and make one page for each phrase and optimize that page for that phrase. Write a unique article for that phrase and put that phrase in the text, the longer the article the more times you can put the phrase in the text without spamming and the higher it will appear in SERPS for that phrase, depending on other SEO factors as well, like popularity.
Nice looking site. I think the SEO is fine, but you need more backlinks for sure. I like this service for getting links: http://www.trial-software.info/3way.html and I also use www.socialmarker.com and www.onlywire.com to easily get backlinks from many social sites.
wow, I wonder how many surfers surf down that far ,,when less than 1% actually look off the first page !
Actually that's not true.. I think A study conducted by AOL stated that around 10% go past the first page.. BTW, it is good to know where your site ranks even if it's in the 900th spot, because then if it gets to 700th you know that you did something right.. It's the only way to measure SEO progress...

Hello, You have too many keywords added in your content. 300 words you need 1 in the H1 tag, 2 in your content and 1 in your link. You may have 4 too many. You will also need to remove the s in your meta tag description. I would also change acne treatments to face acne treatments which is the second part of your title. Good luck with it. Joe
I tried accessing your site from San Diego, CA and it was really slow and even timed out in some spots. Who is your host? I would consider looking into finding a new one.

AlexJames - I'm not sure why it would be loading slow for your, but I'll look into it. jvfconsulting - Thanks :], the sitemap is actually sitemap2.xml (don't ask why) it's added to google through webmaster tools already. P.S. I am considering investing $150 for advertising. Would you suggest PPC or paying for advertising through TextLinkAds?
