Oh by the way - I definitely don't think alcohol should be illegal I quite enjoy drinking from time to time! (of course even if I did not, I would not be for the Governmental control of anyone's decisions on such matters) I just like to point out that if alcohol is legal, it's not reasonable for marijuana to be illegal when comparing the effects of both. I've seen up close and personal the effects of both and I have absolutely no doubt that alcohol is far more dangerous. Not to mention cigarettes. When you look at the effect of cigarettes it's absolutely insane to say that they should be legal and marijuana should not for any sort of health reason. I mean... I just can't even imagine how twisted someone's logic has to be to get to the point where that makes any kind of sense. To me it's just a great example of how lacking in logical thought so many people are and how twisted people's perception of marijuana is due to the Government's ridiculous anti-drug campaigns. To add a bit to my background on the subject of the dangers of alcohol I was very nearly killed by a drunk driver when I was 8 years old (my mother was seriously injured in this accident.) So it particularly pisses me off when people try to compare the effects of marijuana to alcohol.
I wonder if people would feel differently about alcohol if it were injected or smoked, like the other drugs.
