Britain gets an official Libertarian Party

    We have had a "Liberal Democrat party" for years, They are the third largest political party in Britain.

    They favor taxation and social liberalism, not economic libertarianism.

    Sorry, but in my mind, that's not libertarian. That's what I like to call cosmo-libertarianism.

    Of course they favour taxation, All political parties do... How else are we supposed to pave the streets, pay for refuse collectors, pay police, fire brigades, schools, ambulances and erect street lighting?

    They may use different taxation models, But they all have taxation and all believe it's required to raise revenue to pay for public services.

    If you want to live in a tent in the jungle, By all means, do it. But if you want police, Fire services, paved streets, roads, education and a myriad of other things which you apparently believe come from nowhere or falls out of the sky, Taxation has to exist and all political parties have to use it to raise revenue to pay for it.
