Was wearing my Ron Paul T-shirt today at sam's club and i met a very nice elderly couple. The guy was a korean war veteren. He asked who Ron Paul was because he hadnt seen anything at all on him in the news.
I then explained the issues that Ron Paul stood for, and they were both impressed, and when i explained That Ron Paul was an honest politician who wasnt owned by any special interest group and never flip-flopped on any issue he voted on the korean war vet said" That explains why the media was shutting him out, and why would they wanna back an honest politican" lol.

Anyways, they asked how to get more info and i politely gave them ron pauls website url. Thats another 2 converted:). I dedicate this one to gtech.:D:D

Good call. That's the only way, one will have to be quite strategic though I believe.

Paul cam in second in Maine - correct? It seems the initial thing I heard was Third, and now that all the votes are in, it is actually second.

2nd in state delegate count, but Maine is not done yet.

The Presidential Preference Primaries in caucus states mean nothing towards the national convention. In the PPP, Paul came in 3rd, a few points behind McCain.

    As I understand it:

West Virginia's caucus eliminated Ron Paul in it's first round of voting.

As the second round begins, it looks like Romney will take the 50% required to win.

McCain's people vote for Huck, in order to spoil a Romney win.

Dr. Paul's 10% make a deal with Huck to put him over the top and take the win, in exchange for 3 national convention delegates.

    http://www.wsaz.com/political/misc/15267036.html

So, Huck takes the state, but RP got a few delegates too.

    ~~

Reports from Maine indicate that RP got 35% of delegates (2nd place finish). This makes 4 second place finishes so far (including Nevada and Louisiana - where he may actually have won).

Why would you be "turned away"?

    Are you registered and current?

Call your local campaign office, and see if you can get a ride.

Mind you, it's always good to make sure you can vote BEFORE the day of the election. lol
