What your pissed off because I called you on the fact that you made apparently got "keylogged" and tried to sell a domain that wasnt yours to another member here on DP? It was obviously apparent that you were indeed the hacker now.

You honestly believe that you brought down my hosting? Those posts just make you look like an absolute moron and just truly shows your character in general.

You will be lucky to have anyone work with you in the future.

I think I'm having a 'dim day' - what do you mean by 'kiddy scripts'? You used some kind of automated script against AngelaR's site(s)?

No, pissed of that you underestimate me. Now, I don't like to have conversation with people who don't know differences between a hacker, cracker and kiddy scripts. So before you question the abilities of a profession, please read up.

No offense, but what is this, story telling time? Googlizing terms is a smart move ;)

RichUser: You have seriously went off the deep end buddy. Go take some prozak and have a nap. Maybe you will feel better when you wake up...

On an updated note, I did some research and this is what I came up with: (wikipedia.com)

In hacker culture, a script kiddie (occasionally script bunny, skidie, script kitty, script-running juvenile (SRJ), or similar) is a derogatory term used for an inexperienced malicious cracker who uses programs developed by others to attack computer systems, and deface websites. It is generally assumed that script kiddies are kids who lack the ability to write sophisticated hacking programs on their own,[1] and that their objective is to try to impress their friends or gain credit in underground cracker communities

Since you asked for a referral, I'd be happy to refer our own company at http://a1webserver.com. I think you'll find that we take a really different approach to customer service, and would be proud to have your business.

Correct, I dont know how to write my own programs. Last thing I would say is that I am a sophisticated hacker.

Well I think they should of contacted you. From my experience with other hosts it is a big safety reason to suspend all sites under the user accounts until the user notifies them that he or she will correct the problem, then they unsuspend the account for the user to correct the issue.

I have my sites back from what it looks like. Apparently not an abuse problem I am not sure because I haven't heard back from hostgator yet, but it looks like they are up again. *PHEW*

RichUser, Sooooo... what do you claim to have done?? Not that I am wanting to encourage this type of behaviour... I just don't understand why you would take responsibility for my hosting going down when it was clearly my own fault for forgetting to pay on time. (if thats what the reason was).
So what are you taking responsibility for exactly?

I have turned your account back on for the moment. However there are a few issues that were under investigation I need you help me figure out....

Your account was suspended for non payment. We have emailed you numerous times in the last few weeks asking for you to pay this. Your payment is due the same time every month so please make sure to pay it to avoid being suspended. Please also login to pay the $10 late fee currently on the account.

I see you had the same site hosted with us a few months ago and that you were over 4 months past due. When we suspended this account instead of paying the months of past due service you signed up for a new account in our system with the same domain which allowed you to get around the invoices. I'm sure this is just some type of misunderstanding, but if you could clear it up that would appreciated.

I was also able to find the abuse issue in which you were suspended last time. You were running an image site which is clearly stated against our TOS. We stumbled across it after it began receiving 100's of apache connections a second crashing the server resulting in us having to refund multiple customers for downtime. (the whole reason we don't allow image sites)

    Your problems aren't hostgator problems.

    1. Had you paid your bill on time you wouldn't have been suspended.
    2. Had you followed the tos and not ran an image site you would not have crashed the server / been suspended previously.

Please respond to the ticket, and I will be happy to get things worked out with you. Thank you.

And another reason to go with a better host is obviously this.. Privacy issue this host has no respect for your privacy and tells the whole digital point forum your info... You would never see a big hosting company do this.. Not good. He should have just emailed or pmed you this info.

What site did I have with you previously?? All my sites that I have with you are BRAND NEW!! And I never signed up for another account just to get around the invoices. I have absoulutely no idea what you are talking about! I have had hosted sites with you before but have always sold them and moved on. But I never signed up with you to host the same domain name.

I create and sell sites, if the user chooses to not stay on with your hosting company than its not my fault. I make sure if they take over the hosting that they switch all of the information over before I complete the deal.

Im really just confused by all of this. I never received any email about payment being due because if I did I would have paid it right on time. I usually rely on these emails. Which address did you send it to? You can PM me directly for replies to these questions.

I have looked further into this issue just to make sure that there was something I wasnt "missing". This is outrightly untrue. I had used HostGator before on an Image Site like you spoke of above, and then after that I got it moved to another host. But none of the domains I have with you now are ones I "used" to have with you to avoid a non-payment charge. Thats absolutely outlandish.

Anyways, just to clear things up I really don't think you should post people's private information publically. I had PM'd you my Ticket Number and details of my sites in question just like you had asked. I don't know why you couldn't have responded via PM or email?
I do take into consideration that it was my fault that I didn't pay in time, but there were no emails received at all. I am looking right now and do not see anything. I should have remembered the first of the month, but so many things on my mind. I apologize.

Anyways I am just glad that you have taken the steps to put my sites back up, but I really think you should reconsider the steps you take for customer service. I got pushed to sales first for the bill (which was fine) I immediately remitted payment, then got put on hold for an hour with a tech support guy, and then he tells me that your ticket system isnt working so he can't do anything about it. He says it "might" be an abuse issue, but not sure. Then I get pushed back to sales again after opening a support ticket. Its all very confusing. But problem solved, The end.
    Thanks for your time.

    Thanks Pervert-For-Life (P.S. I like your name ;) )

Much appreciated for your kind reply. I have actually decided to go with http://a1webserver.com as I have gotten a referral from a very nice person on this forum. Its great to see that your company wouldn't suspend your account for "minor" errors. Its actually really frustrating.
BTW, I just double checked my CPANEL and my contact information is still correct to what I set my email to about 3 1/2 weeks ago. So I didn't receive any email from them whatsoever.

    Thanks guyz!

This is the second time you opened an account with us....

The first one was suspended for months of non payment. This second account was then opened with the same username, domain, and address allowing the invoices on the other account to not be paid and resume service.

When someone comes on here saying they were suspended unjustly when in fact they didn't pay their bill we have a right to clear up the facts to defend our reputation. The fact is that this whole situation would have been avoided if your payment wasn't weeks past due and you had responded to the numerous warning emails you were sent. I'll be happy to prove all this in your ticket with us. I can provide you with the logs to both accounts, pw, etc.
