    There is no reason you can't optimize every page on your site...

    absoultely... optimize URL, H-tags, title tags, image names, keywords, keyword density and linking on every single page.....have fun:)

    much better if you optimize every page of your site to achieve higher rankings. so how to do it? through proper using of keywords, H tags, alt attributes and keep on posting informative content

    My lead programmer said that H1 tags have NO effect what so ever....

    Please explain so i can tell him.

    its possible.. but not easy.. its really based on the time you spend.. I believe you shound optimize the ones that you believe will make you the money :D

    like dont opt your "contact us" page or "about" page .. i think you get the point, stay mainly on the juicy pages :D then when u get time do a little on the smaller pages

    the real question is are you ready to do it ? or do you have the time to do it, because of course it's true, also it can be a very hard and time consuming task if you own a static html website, but when you are using a Seo friendly CMS, or better yet a CUSTOM Seo CMS, things become very easy. you can optimise all the pages from the Admin area, am talking about on-page optimisation because you still need to get deeplinks if you want your internal pages to get high rankings in the Serps.
