Sorry to disappoint you, but your design is really poor. Why haven't you used the web design of your blog as a base and modified that, because it's just so much better? The web design of your website reminds me of the dark days of internet where most personal websites were stuffed with animated GIFs and colourful background images that would take forever to load on a 14.4k modem. I suggest you to do a thorough revamp of your website and:

• Use XHTML instead of HTML with tables;
• Use a solid background colour for the navigation menu and bold-faced menu-items;
• Use a solid background colour (instead of a background-image) in combination with a font-colour that is easily legible for the body text;
• Get rid off most of the images as they are very distracting;
• The picture of the woman really doesn't make your website more attractive and 2.5 times her face is too much.

I've attached a background-image and a header-image that you could use if you like them. Please, don't use them at the same time! And if you're stuck for ideas for a nice web design, have a look at the website of the Hungarian-British tea company Tony Bennett Hungary Kft. Good luck!

Honestly I would give it a 3 out of 10 because of my dislike for your background. If you change the background you should be fine.

i'll go for 2 out of 10
too much graphics
not readable at all, bacground are hiding the text
and there are too many boxes that divide the site to pieces
that just not looking right
i wish u better luck next design

 

2/10 for me. Personally, i hate those bg image since it keeps on repeating. I think you are targeting for Res 1024, make your overall width to 980px...should fit much better. Use CSS or something to do your page alignment and stuff.

- Can't see the links.
- Find better images in SP.

OK... Here's my honest opinion

I like my sites cleaner..

It seems like you've just thrown everything you could on the site.. and IMO in this case more is less.
The white writing on the side & top menus is barely visible.

I can see that for the background you took a picture of coffee beans and multiplied it many times.. There are many places where the connection between the background images isn't done properly..

I also don't like the background color in the middle...
I don't know why people these days dislike white... I think white is great =)

I recommend browsing around a bit and getting ideas from other websites.. Don't copy, just get the ideas..

Last but not least.. your favicon is the HostMonster logo.. =) What's that all about?
