$1.99 Domain Names...

Not sure if this has been posted. I am sure many of you have heard about this before and know the method but i decided to write up a short document on how to get domain names for $1.99

It's really useful in my opinion! Just started using them over the last 5 months. They're perfect for throw away domains which you just cancel at the end of year (because otherwise you get charged standard domain fees).

So, if you're interested, just click on the link to my latest blog post (under my name) or visit my blog in my sig.

    No. Not from register.com

The domains are $1.99 and to renew the next year its $8 something.

But you can transfer to another account. for a smaller fee.

The only place I know of for $1.99 domains for .com is Yahoo & they suck bigtime. Othewise, you can get .info for $1.99 at other places. Is that what you're talking about?

Personally, I would rather just stick to reputable companies in the industry.

If renewals don't get you, transfers will. No matter what you do, you'll end up paying more the next year. It's always good to hear tips on how to get cheap domains, though.

Can be, but renewals are still usually above what you pay for the first year.
