snap is so damn aggravating with that delay between popping up a screenshot on the mouse over. would be so much better if it were actually smooth.
Nopes I am not talking about pop-up snap code. If you register with snap, your domain has a unique key. Use the key with its in code generating image code in the phpld codes. And trust me it rocks. Snap also takes inner pages screenshot, also expect superb quality images with regular updates. Snap ROCKS!
It seems artviper stopped thumbnails now. Humm,, i signed up with snap, but i am confused with their code integration with phpld. can you please guide up step-by-step for snap integration on PHPLD ?
I currently use thumbshots.org but it looks like snap is worth giving ago. I thought they only did pop up thumbs, but I see they do offer normal thumbs.
I had to do nothing much, just changed the URL from girafa to snap.. <img src="http://spa.snap.com/preview/?url={$link.URL|escape}" align=absmiddle style="border:1px solid #333333;" width="70" height="50" alt="{$link.TITLE|escape}" /> Code (markup): This is what i use at http://www.nobledirectory.com/Web_Directories/
Snapcasa also provides free web page snapshots. Their service offers several different thumbnail sizes and the snapshots always appear really fast without the “Thumbnail Queued†image I used to get from other similar services. I also like how there is no script need to use it just an img tag in my html. <a href="http://snapcasa.com">Web Page Snapshots</a> Thanks
