Summer here in the Philippines really begins late Feb. or early March and lasts until about Mid-May. It's the hottest time of the year and there's little or no rain. Temperatures in Metro Manila sometimes reach 100º with a high humidity as well. To add to the discomfort, the air is polluted with exhaust fumes, so if you don't have scarred lungs when you arrive here, eventually you will.

I hate winter too! You can't do anything, and you have to sleep in these quilts and blankets! I HATE WINTER Summer ROX!
Right now, the Summer is quite cool, it's been raining a lot here over the past 2 months, probably the coolest summer in a long time.
I need to make a trip to the Philippines soon. My wife is originally from there and we keep a vacation place in Cebu.
Heh, it's been 38+ (I think that's about 100 F?) here for the last 2 weeks or so. Longest hot spell in 115 years or something like that. It's almost midnight here and still 28 degrees outside.
yeah i like summer too. at least I could go out and have a walk wihout wearing lots of cloths or umbrella. and the best way to go s the beach or swimming pools in summer, if you know what i mean.
I don't know about Cebu, but Metro-Manila over the past couple weeks has been unusually cool. However, that probably won't last long as the summer season will likely be arriving soon.
