Lessons learned: never mention your adsense websites on forums

It is the first time I come to forums and already I've been targeted by some nasty kids clicking on my adsense ads. Doesn't matter as I didn't earn from adsense with that site but with others so I removed adsense from it as well as from another I had made known also.

As I can see I'm not alone to have been victim of that kind of troll.

But lessons learned: never advertize your adsense sites on forums.

Thats really not a good sign. but, if you are innocent, then mailing stats to google will be enough I think.

There's no problem with Google as I don't care much about these sites: they were earning 0 from adsense. I'm just baffled by the lack of ethics existing on forums !

Google should have added a protection to us AdSense publishers.. (something like only allowing 1 click per IP per day or something..)

As there's nothing that can prevent your other "competitor bloggers" who hate you and start clicking the ads to make Google bans you

Google should ban the adsense account of these guys who behave unethically. I guess they do it already ...

I don't have a link to any of my sites in my signature or in my profile. I have heard too many stories about people in foreign countries getting pissed in a forum and clickbombing someone. Its BS. Sadly there is no recourse for honest publishers that are getting screwed by jealous pricks.

It is always a good idea to keep a check on your daily stats and if you observe some suspicious activity then report it immediately .

You can advertise your site any where as long as you can handle such situations and respond to them promptly :)

You should always think whether your site is related to the forum you are advertising it on.
    If not, don't advertise.
