They have it all figure out just as fast as they had 9/11 figured out. Makes you go hmmmm--or maybe I'm just cynical Even if one of these stories is by some fluke true, this "reporting" is pathetic. Knowing what you are talking about before reporting the story doesn't matter--being first does. It will be interesting to see how this one works out. BTW, check this out: http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30200-1303571,00.html?f=rss Was someone getting the incidents mixed up?
Yeah, this story is a convoluted mess; but it didn't stop them from going on about Down's syndrome right off the bat--based on the blown off head they found.
A load of these dumbass "news" channels just parrot the other dumbass "news" channels verbatum, without doing any research into it whatsoever. Sky News is notorious for doing this.
I completely agree with you guys (scary, isn't it). I've have personally experienced several situations where I was interviewed about a news event by a journalist or local reporter, but when the story came out it was a complete fabrication, complete with quotes of statements that I never made. And these news guys think that bloggers are a threat to the truth.
