I'm not that experienced with the actual creating of the site. I have a question. I have a site that is not a forum, message board, or anything similar. I do have a "Join" option though if they decide to join the website. THE PROCESS: To join, the user enters a username, chooses a password, and then clicks "Join" Then I want a confirmation e-mail sent to the address they entered to verify the e-mail. Then I want the e-mails and passwords added to a database. Then I want them to have access to the members area. It works just like a forum sign-up, except it isn't a forum or anything like a forum. HOW: - Is their a script that does this? - Is there anyone here who knows how to code this or anyone here who knows someone else here who can (I'll pay) ??? - Does anyone know the link to a script that does this? - Any other information on this or links to a tutorial that explains and demonstrates this??
Next time, I recommend making the topic title more informative. Two, can't you just learn PHP and do it yourself? Its not that difficult.
is it a blog ? is it a regular site where u need the users to register ? is it a membership site ? what are we talking about here ? Please be clear. If its a blog there are plugins for wordpress to do so. If its a regular site then popular cms like joomla and drupal have plugins/extensions where you can have the same functions. Is there another site which has a similar functionality?
A regular free members site that gives access to the content pages after they join and their e-mail is verified by clicking a confirmation link sent to their e-mail. Only members have access to the main content. Free though no cost. Do you have source code for it? Or able to tell me where or how to accomplish this simple operation lol. I posted it in the programming section.
