Ha! I actually attempted to try Jason's method but was too lazy to submit to all of those article sites. I submitted 1 article to ezinearticles, setup hidefproducts.com, and sold my first tv with a $79 commission. I didn't even know that I had sold it because I don't check my Amazon page that often. So, needless to say, I'm going to start working on this thing more frequently!!!

There's plenty of other great niches outside HDTVs too so don't just stick with those.

Just think in 2 hours you can easily put out a new page a day and keep doing this every day for a couple of months and you will reach your $100 a day target very quickly.

Depends on your definition of easy.

Most businesses take 1-2 years before they become profitible. The internet has provided us with the opportunity to make our own profitible business within a few months.

In comparision to other ways of earning a living I would call that easy.

 

You mentioned you add a new review every day to your site. This point is clear and it is brillant but i want to know.. How do you build your site about these reviews? Are they a lot of no attached page? Or is there any relationship between them to improve their SEO ranking?

I don't know so much about SEO but i guess that you need to build the internal links to your homepage and sitemap for every new review that you add.

Just one part im not sure about, the way you get your traffic:

I have writen articles before, and submited them to ezinearticles - which gets me some clicks, but it's a lot of messing around and hard work - building up lots of articles, just to get the visitors.

If all that is required to get $50 is 300 visitors, would it not be possible to get them through adwords, without any directory submissions???

I've never done adwords, so this is more of a question, but aslong as it costs less then $50 to get the 300 visitors, are you not making profit?

I'd like to hear from someone if this is possible.

You should Ideally build an interlinked content site and that can be acheived in lots of ways .

At the least you could have a homepage that lists all the different price comparison pages you have made - or you could go for something more sophisticated.

 

Yes you can use PPC traffic to make affiliate sales and make a healthy profit.

Article Marketing = Work
Adwords & PPC = Work and potentially losing a lot of money.

PPC is very competitive, complicated and you have to spend money. When I first got into PPC I burned through $700 in failed campaigns and spent about $2000 on course and software to get my PPC off the ground (took me 2 months working fulltime+ before I started making money back).

So literally you may find yourself needing $3000 to get started with PPC and learn how to do it before you will make any money (I'm sure others did it with less money but I wasn't one of them and I know I'm not alone).

PPC can give much bigger rewards, but it is harder.

My suggestion to someone new who doesn't want to burn through a lot of money. Do the article marketing method first - use it to learn about landing pages, targeted traffic, expected conversion rates, etc.

You will then find some profitible niches and hidden proftible keywords that you rank for - you can use this as a starting point for your PPC campaigns.

 

Its been a while since I first posted this and I definately know a few people implemented this (and I think a few more that I don't know have might have done too).

I'd love it if some of you guys could come back and share your results and if you have any questions I'll try and answer them.

 

I 2nd that... I had been watching this thread from Christmas until it went dormant, but never posted. Jason recently gave some great input on another thread I watch, so I thought it was time to jump in here and encourage us to revive this debate.

Could a few people who followed Jason's original method report back on their progress? The good, the bad and the ugly? What did they do? I think it would be quite instructional for others.
