Affiliate programs legal question

Hello,

Can someone tell me who is liable from these three parts:

affiliate network
publisher
advertiser

In my case I want to promote these offers "free ipod", and I do find them in affiliate network.Let's say some of these companies don't offer real iphone(i don't know this), so what can happen?
Can I be responsible for this?

No your just the affiliate, you can't be held liable for the advertiser mistakes

you are protected no matter what. you are merely an affiliate and nothing more. you should be fine...but hopefully you use a legit service and not some scam.

 

Your merely advertising. If a company puts an advertisement on tv and they don't come through with whatever it is they say they will do its not the channels fault its the company who is offering the product...
