Hi, I'd like to know how much I could get when I sell my website (http://www.modbase.be). I have 2245 registered members (increasing every day), we receive about 500-700 unique visitors per day. The website has much content (148 tutorials, big forum, about 40 downloads). When you visit the website you can see it has a PR4 (at homepage) and several PR3, PR2, PR1 pages. The domainname is more than 2 years old. I just want to know how much I can ask for this website. This doesn't mean I sell it! It would be nice to know. Thanks @Mods: If this is the wrong category, I'm sorry. I didn't knew which one to choose (general marketing or general business or buy sell and trade) , so I picked this one.
are the tutorials unique to your site? or are they copied? If they are unique this would greatly increase the value of your site.
Thanks for your reply texan..... I just checked it its link price calculator but does not gve you webiste worth?? Do you know any websites which do online website appraisals?Cheers
Texan Web: He asked got a valuation for his website, not links! Sangli I believe that you could maybe get around $1000 for it
All the stats are nice to see but you appear to be missing the key ones of what profit you are making and where the revenue is coming from.
All the tutorials are unique. My site was the first Dutch site with this kind of tutorials. None of the tutorials are copied. I don't really think you can thrust this tool. When I check for Google.com, it's says: This is absolutely not realistic.
I used some tools to calculate the website value: Tool 1: http://www.cwire.org/website-value-calculator/ * The site's Alexa Rank = 268,969 * The site's Google Page Rank = 4 * Yahoo: 731000 backlinks * Altavista: 10100 backlinks * All the Web: 8340 backlinks * Average of 250136 backlinks * Your site is valued at: $3,804 Tool 2: http://www.glurk.com/saved.php?i=12469 Are these stats realistic?? If this would be true, I'd immediately sell it lol
It's very easy. You may ask the NET revenue of the last 10 months Not last month by 10...last 10 months by 1 Last 10 months will provide steady numbers.
follow this princeiple to make a quite good estimation: http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum25/614.htm
I reply back late last night, but I don't see the post. Strange!!! I said that I thought sangli1980 was talking about the website link value and not the website value itself. I said to just google "free domain appraisals" and a list of a services would come up. Where this is true, but when I put in google.com in the Link Price Calculator, it came up as Link Price US $41,906.
