How to find out whether article is unique or copied?

    Hello friends,

I have a question for all of you. How to find out that a particular article is unique or it is partly or fully copied from any other article on the internet. Also tell me what to check in an article when you are accepting articles from your writers.

    Thanks & Regards,
    ssssaurabh

What happens normally articles are sold in bulk and for the buyer there is a lot of time in between buying and actually posting it on his website or use it in what ever way. So how can we recognise whether they are unique or not before we put them online?

Just select and sentence with about 6~7 words The put " sign in the beggining and ending
The make a Google search for that string you will find all the copies
This is the logic which is used by copyscape

Like for example try this string (with the " )

This is a sentence for a SEO article from wikipedia ,Do a search and find all the copies

Thanks summet. Now that makes some sense. But the article can also be partially copied, i mean only 40% would have been copied and rest would have been changed. Also the idea of article could be same just by changing the words and sentences, now how can we catch these?

Is this the right place to discuss this, not sure, anyway,

Searching in google using quotes randomly across the article is the best way to go about it. Even copyscape misses any article that was copied from a newly written article or blog, i have experienced this myself many times where my blog was copied, but copyscape missed it and I found it only through google!

It's useful if it's word for word copied.

Remember that words can be copyrighted but not the idea. That's why you are encouraged to make massive changes to PLR articles before using them. At the end of the day, the PLR article may look different with the edited wordings but the topic remains.
