I respect what you have said, but could you please explain why you would lose visitors? Just because you would leave, why would this be the view of every other visitors?

    "Kozyavka"

Why would you get into trouble with Google? This I look forward too....Please educate me

i happen to know one of the working founders of the concept...he is a good man and a Christian...its not a scam...its a very serious "media play" and it will work...

the reality is its a highly targeted (5 second) message and its set up to NOT annoy e.g. recognizing repeat visitors etc...

where is the scam anyway???? what is the scam??

it costs the webmaster nothing to add the code and if branded messages were so bad Madison Ave would be out of business and no one would watch the "Boob Tube"

how many jingles do you have in your head?
how many theme songs do you hum?

How is it set up "NOT" to annoy visitors? Especially repeat visitors, who have to listen to it again and again.

But, hey, if they say it works, more power to them.

You won't get many repeat visitors if it annoys them too much to return. :D

Again, its free to sign up. Costs you nothing to implement. If it works then great, if not you're out nothing. As someone said earlier why not sign up just in case. People sit through TV commercials, radio ads etc. I believe it to be expected that audio ads would eventually make it on to the internet. They have a new stat system being installed tonight at midnight. Then a gradual roll out will start, working its way to full production in 30-60 days depending on the bugs to work out. I'm sure when adsense and other programs started there was hesitation. Theres still a lot of people who do not like PPC programs, but there are others that do very well with it. At least let the program start up.

    1. I know as soon as my stats page starts updating Ill post a pic of it for everyone.

    2. PPP is not for every site. It has a certain place for certain types of pages. I know I have several sites I'm not going to put it on. And I'm only piloting it on a couple of my smaller pages.

I have signed up, but there is no way I'd post a sound add on my best blog. Some readers spend more than 15 minutes there, so they'd be stuck listening to 5 adds.

I'm interested to see how targeted and relevant these audio ads will be though, and I don't think they're going to suit me, but I'm keeping an open mind.

This is right the ads will play for 5 seconds on each page, and will only play once,

I was sure I'd read somewhree that the code resets after 3 minutes, but I can't find that source now and may be mistaken.

The FAQ does say this though:
So if they visit multiple pages of your website, they will hear multiple ads. So if you're expecting them to, for example, read multiple blog posts, then they're going to be hit multiple times.

Its my understanding that if a visitor stays on the same site they won't play again for 3 minutes and only if they go to another page.

    We should wait and see.
I haven't seen any sites running PPP yet, but it would be interesting to get some feedback.

They say that the playing of the ad will be every three minutes for the same unique visitor. It means that, if some visitor is on the web page, and he refresh the same web page after three minutes, he will again hear the audio advertising. If he goes to other page where is audio code inserted, he will of course hear the audio advertising from that page, since the audio ad will be played from every web page where the code is inserted.

    Thank you.

I know when I visit a website that autoruns a video or any sort of sound I close the window. I hate being forced to do things I don't want to do and don't believe the user should. PPP is a quick way to turn away your loyal users and increase your bounce rate. ie, not good for business.

A lot of you keep referring to them as annoying voice ads. But what if the ad is informative and brief? Would that still bother you?

I also thinking of that. Is it worth for PPP?
