Gmail Account Hacked, DP Account Hacked, Adsense Account Hacked, Now What?

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by neoakenz0, Feb 1, 2008.

I recently just got my gmail, DP, and Adsense account hacked. I have been emailing google the pass couple of days, but they take forever to respond. And now they don't seem to even respond.

Anyone know of a number that I can call them at?

Can someone help me access my account?

Try calling them at 1 650-253-0000 (main phone number) if it is that important. Otherwise, just wait for an email or try to figure out the password.

    This is terrible man !

It is always good to have anti spywares to deal with some keyloggers and
not to forget an active firewall as well :)

That's why I always use Linux. No problems with keyloggers at all.

Now, if you were stupid enough to put a very short/easy password or the same password for all your accounts, then that's your own fault.

I thought they only allow one password for all accounts. I don't have gmail yet.

Why would they hack an adsense account since you cannot change the name of the account ?

Its the same password for all google services (Gmail, Adsense, ect) so they would only need to find one password.

I don't think that's necessarily true. My adsense login is an ancient email account from university days.

you should use different pass for different accounts, and write them down in some secret place.

SideJacking is a risk when using a public WiFi hotspot to access your unencrypted webmail
