If you're going to start a design business, why would you offer logo design for such low fees. First of all, you are likely to attract the worst of the worst clients. Secondly, you undermine the quality of your work. Now, I say that not having seen your work. Not making any quality judgements, either way.

Let's just say you can physically turn around 20 logos per week, which I doubt you can accomplish, regularly. That leaves you with $400 per week. You should be making roughly between $35,000 to $90,000 as a graphic designer, depending on your geography, quality, and ability to market. However, at this low rate, you will only get to $21,000. And that is if you're working solidly, which you won't be. At your pricing structure, and considering the competition out there, I would guess you'd be lucky to make $8,000 with your low-cost approach. Plus, unless you get money up front, you'll be working for free quite a bit...because the level of client that you've positioned your services with.

My suggestion is to rethink your pricing structure, whether you're in India or not.

Good luck on your new venture!

I think you got it a bit wrong. What he is doing rite now is promotion. Once he gets popularity he can always his prices.
