They mean possibly to find a niche that you can concentrate on, like electricals or books etc, and to possibly reserch the keywords and try and get your site ranking for those keywords and optimise for those keywords in order to get traffic to your site from people interested in the amazin products you will be offering.

    Hi

    My idea is
Just get in Amazon website, then pick some item, category by category, till you see the product that you feel it's niche, check with search engine, Is there any competitor or not?

Let try, i try by this way, and I got a lot of niche keyword ^_^

    Thanks For Ideas....

In amazon, I find niche keywords from Product name or brandname
First, I find the keyword and check number of result page in google
If keyword that you find has result page about 30,000, It's good!
If result page more than 50,000, You maybe mix the keyword by prefix or try to find the new keyword.

I agree with this way, search results less than 50k is quite niche. :D

    I agree with you :)

You can find niche keywords from product detail pages - all texts are keywords. maybe you can dig niche keywords from this page.

    Good luck :)

I am probably repeating, but there are several tools out there to find keywords. Wordtracker, Google suggest. Even just typing in your main keyword and go to the sites listed on the first page and review the source code and look for what keywords they might have in the meta tag might get you going. It's just a lot of work, but worth it.
