This is George Galloway at his best.

Some guy from Texas in the USA phoned up George Galloway tonight on his UK Talk Show (could it be GTech? The guy sounded like he wanted America to bomb the entire world so could be lol!) and Gorgeous George absolutely flamed him.
Galloway at his absolute best it is. :D

Galloway exposes the stupidity of some people on the big side of the pond.

    Duration: 4 minutes 33 seconds.

Note to sheeple, remember he is saying about AMERICAS ROLE in the world, not American people in general, although the burger line is a bit of a classic. :p

The guy was nothing short of a complete dumbass!

I mean come on! Galloway torched the US Senate FFS lol, he had no problem at all telling a PC RAMBO from Texas exactly how the situation is and how bad the US Administration is doing with their quest to ruin the world.

No. Most people are really just that stupid. They have never traveled, they think that every other country is backward, the world is filled with evil only one superpower can stop and have no knowledge of history.

Yep, only 9/11 troofers (and now ron paul supporters) are smart enough to see what others cannot see.

Doesn't georgy boy have a record of supporting terrorists? That may explain why he's so popular among some of the "new breed" of "conservatives." ;)

If the subject matter wasn't so serious it would be absolutely hilarious, although the closing line was a classic!

I think we've already covered the lack of knowledge of some around here.

Several posters claim to be following the elections, and do not even understand how the convention process works. ;)

Kinda like watching the superbowl and not knowing how many quarters are in football game.

He doesn't have a record of supporting terrorists. I believe he totally embarrassed Norman Coleman for suggesting such.

I don't agree with Galloway's politics, but I respect him for straight talking like few other politicians in the world.

Galloway said nothing of substance, just a lib, hate America shock-jock rant.

    Galloway claims:
    1. "We thought Ronald Reagan was a pretty decent threat to the world too"

When pressed that Reagan's tough policy and military spending was instrumental in ending the massive communism threat to Europe and the world, he follows with the ridiculous "communism died a long time ago but we've had quite a lot of US wars since then..." Logic 101, that doesn't follow. So why is it that Mr. Galloway is playing fast and loose with Reagan/America's accomplishments to end the communist threat? Perhaps Mr. Galloway is a sympathizer with communists and terrorists?

    2. The US has "slaughtered" millions

Yeah, there is death in war. Use whatever emotionally charged words you want, war kills people and destroys things. No sane person loves war but if a war must be fought, it should be fought with full power. Civilians get killed in war and the misnomer friendly-fire happens as well.

He throws around some bogus facts like 1.1 million slaughtered in Iraq. I won't argue numbers since everyone's numbers are different and suspect. I will argue that Mr. Galloway makes no distinction between civilians, terrorists, insurgents, and the Iraqi armed forces. Is he really trying to claim 1.1 million civilians were killed due to indiscriminate US carpet bombing of Iraq? Just more shock-jock hyperbole.

    3. Saddam's dead, communism died, GWB is still slaughtering Iraqis and wants to start other wars

Ok, I guess Mr. Galloway is of such a simple mind that he believes that once Saddam was captured that the mission was over? No need for a stable Iraqi government? No need to establish an Iraqi police force and army to repel insurgents and al-quaeda opportunists?

Communism did die, but who is he arguing with. The conflicts today are due to Islamic radicalism, not communism. He sure isn't thankful that America spent trillions to defend his country and others in Europe. I guess that's what you get from some people. They grow up in freedom and despise the very people that made their freedom possible.

    4. The US used chemical weapons in Vietnam

Mr. Galloway again loses touch with reality and makes an outrageous claim. Again, he displays no ability to distinguish truth from fiction. Does he really need a simple education on what chemical weapons are and how they are really used? I think not. It's just a rhetorical lie, another piece of straw to build his strawman.

To finish the rant, Mr. Galloway ends it with a ad-hominem attack based on where the caller lives (insinuating he's just another stupid fat American?).

To me, it's obvious who the bigger idiot was in that discussion.

    I'm using the working definition:

Chemical warfare involves using the toxic properties of chemical substances to kill, injure or incapacitate an enemy.

Defoliants do not meet this criteria and are not scheduled by the Chemical Weapons Convention and not controlled by CWC treaties.

I really hope you weren't trying to be pedantic and argue that because a defoliant is made up of chemicals it must therefore be a chemical weapon....

    Why do I try...

How many wars have the US been in since WWII? (That's a question I'm hoping someone might know the answer to, btw, not a statement)

They tried to make the last 3 sound like films i think. It's a way of making vicious, bloody imperialism more media friendly and appealing to a country that spend half of their life watching TV.
