I do accept the scientifically logical chance of life living beyond our doorsteps. There would be millions of planets with equal conditions.
It’s such a presumption believing that we are unique in this entire vast and mysterious complex Universe. How can I not believe that there is no life out there?
I agree with you! Although is has already been proven that life does exist on other planets- what is left to be proved by science is the existence of intelligent ET life- but, since we are debating the existence of intelligent life here , I agree that we cannot possibly be the only intelligent life form in infinity.
It's fun to imagine some species outthere living in other worlds asking themselves the same question, is there life outside of their Star System!?
Oh, that. What it means is that I don't need to elaborate my answer because as a Christian I only believe what's in the Bible and like what I said to simplyg123, it's not mentioned or spoken about in there. To me, these things about life on other planets or UFO's are just products of human fondness for the "mysterious" and "unexplainable" and is even more sustained by man's creativity. There's a tendency for us to believe something is true because we want it to be true even if there is lack of evidence...or to believe something to fit our own expectations or sustain our cravings for excitement. True indeed, man's quest for knowledge or even hunger for the "unknown" far exceeds his limit to stomach the truth that's been there even before the universe came into existence.
No I don't... I just believe in the creation theory and that the Earth alone is the only place for all living things...
They may be beyond internet and communicate through thoughts If some people can believe there's life after death, then some people can believe there's life after Earth.
Im going to jump on the other side for a moment. There is a lot of space out there, but its not wasted. Have you seen how beautiful these things are. The lights and colors of far off galaxies and star formations. I am Christian, and i believe, that there was a creator. What a creator he is, to make such beautiful, amazing things. I have just given glory to the creator. Which, if there is no life out there, still gives us a use for the space out there. It shows us how great the creator is. I still believe other life is possible, but within that "wasted space" are more of Gods miraculous creations. That testify to his glory.
She's referring to the martian meteorite that later has come under serious scrutiny by experts. Posted a link to wikipedia about it and the questions about it. big news when it came out but the press barely picked up the stories about subsequent examination.
