I need a few ways to get quality traffic to my websites. To me its not worth it to use Adwords anymore and Adengage doesn't do it either. Are there any other ways that still are good and wont cost like $1/click?
What niche are you in if you don't mind me asking? There are pretty much two options... you can either invest money (as you mentioned, Adwords) to get traffic, or you can invest a lot of time by submitting articles to places like digg, simply advertising your services/products here on DP and other forums, etc. But it takes quite a bit of work... also, depending on what your website is about, instead of advertising on adwords you could perhaps advertise on related websites.
Do some market research and find out what keywords people will type to buy a product/find information. This is high quality traffic and can be easily converted into sales anytime. Who says you need to pay $1/click? Check out my screenshot below:
You can buy banners or text links on related sites here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=58 Traffic from search engines is good too.
you should buy Black label Ads, they still provide quality traffic for low price try www.blacklabelads.com
Oh, Jesus, shut up about search engines already! Is it no wonder so many wanna-be Website entrepreneurs don't make it.
here is my advice for free traffic - start a blog and join blogging communies like mybloglog - write some unique articles and submit them to all the biggest article sites - join plenty of related forums and become an active member - use signature links - make blog comments on related blogs - use social bookmarking sites like Digg, Furl etc... A LOT - use video marketing on sites like youtube if it's appropriate - use social networking sites like myspace, facebook etc - create links back to your sites every opportunity you get - if you can't handle all of the above - HIRE SOMEONE!!! just make sure if you hire someone they know what they're doing if you're buying traffic good luck
Seriously I'm on the first page of Google for 22 different keywords, and it's barely giving me any traffic. You would think it would provide lots of traffic for being on the first page of Google, but for some reason it's not, I'm surprised to.
Treat your website as a tool for your business and go back to basics on starting and building a business with free help from the Small Business Administration (SBA.gov). Too many think of a site as the end-all. It’s a tool, just like a postcard is, a blog, etc. You need to have a business and use your site as a sales tool, listing it on your business cards, print postcards and other direct mail pieces, on the phone recordings, flyers, in your email, your sig files, articles, etc. Internet marketing in itself is a tool like offline marketing. In the long run, a business mindset will take you farther than worrying about being on the first page of Google. You want long term results. Think bigger
Don't get any traffic services.. optimize your website so you get hits from Google. That won't cost you a dime and it will get you quality traffic...
