I'm interested in seeing if Google will put in their own bid. Think about how important SEO would be then if we had DOUBLE the Google to deal with!

Well if anything it has raised Yahoo's stock by almost 9 points today (45.31% up)

 

thats not awesome!, that would be monoply and make our life hard

I think it will change everything around, and also this was new news to me.

 

i just dont want google to be the only superpower of the internet...more is the competition more beneficial it is for us!!

First off, MS or Google buying Yahoo will have to go through the federal merger process and get reviewed.

And all of you are still ignorant towards monopolies. If any of you actually researched, in a unregulated industry, monopolies aren't bad. A monopoly in that situation means its better than its competition, which is good for us as they can cut prices.
