How can i optimize website having content totally in Flash ?

Hi experts,

I need to know how i can optimize the website which is built in totally flash ?

For the image we could have ALT for image optimization,

is there any particular tag for flash optimization ?

do you think website built in flash are good ?

Need your suggestions for the same.

I think from an SEO perspective, flash is not a good idea at all. Personally, flash is annoying and slow.

I would strongly recommend giving your visitors the option of viewing the site in flash or html, especially for visitors with slow Internet connections.

Then your HTML pages will give the search engines something to index.

Absolutely you are right,
but if one needs to have his website in flash and wants to optimize there might be some strategy.
I have heard that if you do strong link building for such website, you can get higher positions in SERP's.
As far as i know with out content it won;t be possible, we need to rely on title and meta only for the on page optimization,
Will you provide me tips for optimizing particular flash content in website.

 

optimization of website is very much hard work to do.
crawler won't understand scripting languages any more.
For this the best option that only u used that buying links for getting high traffic towards to your website.

As you know, Flash site is harder to get ranking in search engines and in sort time. strong back links are ok but it will take much time and also most of FREE links running with Dangerous techniques like nofollow.

we know very well about that problem so we can try to use flash in only header part and some effective adverts on the site.

Flash sites are useless for SEO and high ranking.

Unless the site is a very strong brand (like Addidas or Nike) you will not rank anywhere except with massive link building effort, and even then you may not rank well.

If someone wants a flash site optimising, walk away or rebuild it in html with a 'few' flash elements if they must have it.

Flash + SEO = BAD MIX

 

if your website really makes visitors, visit yoru site again and again, then you can go with flash. Like gaming sites and all. Now the way of optimization is using meta tags, and link building with anchor text of the search term that has good traffic.

 

You may get trouble for trying to rank flash based sites. Spiders are hard to index flash sites unless you have also a html version of your site.

and for every visitor that slow internet connection
flash website is slow and annoying.....

 

Make two pages .. one in Flash and one in regular HTML with all static hand code.
Make a Javascript function: SWFObject()
To see if the browsers can handle reading the Flash or not. If it cant it will send them to the HTML page.
** and is what spiders will do to read your page content.

Make sure to include all the DIV and functions though. So essentially you'll have two sites where one is the default Flash content, the other is for non-compliant browers and spiders. Please note this method wouldnt be 100% guaranteed for spiders

 

Have you ever seen a good flash site toping the google page for any keyword term ? think about it i dont have any answer for your question

 

I think this is your best option, flash cant be crawled, so make it so it can be, and add flash elements, i know i just repeated what he said, but i see this as the only option.

 

you can hardly optimized a page if it fully flash., and some visitors may not appreciate flash sites.,

 

Make your website famous by running ppc campaigns ....seo for flash is hard

 

if you still with your flash web idea.

try blogging its will help your potential customer and search engine like blog.

do blogging and link back to your flash media web
it will help you for long run
