well hope this helps... for getting good traffic from blogs... 1) you need to write some good valuable content, so that people start linking to you 2) blog commenting is a real good way... again some valuable comments 3) Make maximum use of the lovely track back URL's provided by the bloggers...
I agree with Webdrops. Don't spam other blogs - the way to get links is by naturally getting them, and those turn out to be better links anyway. I get about 100 spam comments per day from people who make comments on my blog with links, thinking they'll get through. Spam doesn't work. Blogs with dofollow comment areas are okay, and while those comments won't hurt, they won't do you much good either. Since ANYONE can have a dofollow comment link, that doesn't make them the best of quality and you're not getting much juice. Try getting links from actual blog posts, by writing good and relevant content others will want to link to.

Ok I have been looking at a few blogs and I do see that they have a place to leave a comment. But When I check some of the comments left by other people, it shows them in a pop-up ! ! Do most blogs allow you to post a comment and let you insert a link as well? (even if it is a no-follow) !! and if you say most of them are noFollows, is it better to just ask the blog owner how i can advertise on their blog? or should I try to find blog
I agree with them! You can write a quality article on your blog that can attract readers, interests them, by doing this, you will be able to gain backlinks. In addition, blog commenting is one great way of earning backlinks, although you may not get much juice, because most blog sites have a "nofollow" command. Hope it helps!

Guys, I am going to do the comments thing. Only in related forums and with good input. Even if it is 'nofollow' it is still free and might help brand awareness. What do you guys think about Paid Revies in blogs? What do you think about Paid Ads in blogs?
Search for blogs that are of the same subject as yours, email the blogmaster and ask him if he would be interested in a "Guest Writer". Give him a link to your blog so he can evaluate your writing style if he likes it, most will agree to a "Written By" link back to your site.

Comment on DoFollow blogs in your niche! You can get dofollow blogs by seraching www.backlinkspot.com or www.commenthunt.com But don't do spam comments!
