How do I cancel a hosting account from X10hosting and 000Webhosting because I hosted the same domain at both of these sites. Also, does X10 host .info domain?

For 000webhosting, you cannot cancel, but they will delete your domain after a certain period of inactivity.

It is quite a solid place, no adverts, cpanel and no overselling it is 250 mb web space, I like it a lot :) One of the best free hosting I had seen so far.

Where did you put your index.html file? It must be at the public_html folder.

Yes the index.html file is in the public_html folder and it does show up in the manage accounts column. The domain, estuds.info, is regestered under godaddy but is getting hosted at 000webhosting. The nameservers point to 000 too by the way. So whats up? Why isn't the site showing up when I type it?

It looks ok to me, this is what I saw

Your website is up and running!
Website estuds.info has been successfully installed on server.
Please delete file "index.php" from public_html folder and upload your website by using FTP or cPanel web based File Manager.

Below you can see your current files in public_html folder.

When I type estuds.info into the url bar it goes to godaddy and says it's parked there for free. How did you get the page to show up?

Maybe your browser is caching the old pages, try to refresh your browser cache?

Did you get this IP when you ping?

    C:\Documents and Settings\Username>ping estuds.info

Pinging estuds.info [64.235.47.65] with 32 bytes of data:

    Reply from 64.235.47.65: bytes=32 time=337ms TTL=44
    Reply from 64.235.47.65: bytes=32 time=324ms TTL=44
    Reply from 64.235.47.65: bytes=32 time=409ms TTL=44
    Reply from 64.235.47.65: bytes=32 time=460ms TTL=44

If not, I guess you need to wait for propagation, but definitely there isn't any issue with your web site, no worries.

I went on my Mom's mac and it showed up. I wonder why? Also, can you host subdomains with 000webhosting?

Yeap you can host your own subdomains, if the site shows up at your Mom's mac it means that your browser is still caching to the old. either clear it or it will automatically update soon enough.

X10 provides more space, but somehow I like 000webhost because I keep forgetting to post one post every few weeks and get suspended.

So the homepage and sub domains go in /public_html/index, not in a folder right?
