Would you by a Michael Jackson album if the music was Hot

Considering the allegations from 1993 and the trial in 2005. It isnt 100% that the guy is innocent.

If he made a album that was blockbuster hot would you buy it,or would the negativity surrounding him prevent you from wanting to buy any of his music. No matter how good it is.

 

I'd buy in a heartbeat...he will tap the best writers/producers for a real comeback...so yes I will definitely be awaiting the cd.

I don't care about that sort of personal stuff when it comes to enjoying music. I either like the music or I don't. Someone might be a great person in their personal life but make really boring uninteresting music or someone might be a horrible person in their personal life and make amazing music. Dig it?

 

I generally don't buy CDs so I probably wouldn't buy it, but I would certainly listen to his music. I still enjoy his old music no matter what.

 

When I listen to a persons music, I judge it if it's good and not wether the person singing it is guilty of some crime.

 

i wldn't care. I'd buy it straight away, screw the allegations, the guy makes GREAT albums.

 

The problem is, if they are a horrible person (or believe them to be a horrible person), why would you support them?

 

By that logic, do you buy CDs of people who are good people and donate to charity even if their music is crappy?

Music is music. If it's good and I like it, I'll pick it up. If it's not, I won't. The person making it has no influence whatsoever.

I think there is a bit of a difference between not donating to charity and molesting children. I mean, a lot of good musician do things people would consider bad, but if one doesn't mind, then that's the difference. I don't care how much drugs a rock star does, but when it starts going into other areas that there is a problem.

I don't know, I don't even really care about Michael Jackson anymore.

 

I would not buy it. I don't like the fella, therefore I would not support him.

 

Well I've been a huge fan of MJ since I was young and I still am so I'd buy his album without hesitation.

I not going to buy it but I don't care if others do.

 

MJ was really good ...For the moment I don't know if is able to come back with something great...but if he does, I'll listen to his music, for sure!
