Hey - Nice pictures and by the looks if it I have missed your other threads What type of camera are you using and whats this new attachment called? Great Pics!
Sounds fun! If I were next to you, I would bring a spoon and a tin can and start banging it until your cam explodes!
Thats not very nice...his camera is probably worth more than *insert something expensive here* ( couldn't think of something...)
now where have I heard that before! thanks! it's a lot of fun for me as you can see! got to love the toys, keeps me from doing actual work thanks man, I've only posted a couple other threads, so you haven't missed a lot the drops were with my friends Canon 30D and my Sigma 105mm macro lens the other stuff is with my new Canon 40D, 24-105mm lens, flash, and sound trigger (bought as an unassembled kit online). what the? I'd loose it and would not be responsible for beating you with said spoon fyi
Now all you need is a High speed Video Camera... And we will watch small chunks of CD flying all over in slow motion...
These are shot with a single off camera flash that is to the right of the camera. I've shot some since with 2 flashes, one on either side - seems to stop the action of the balloons a little better, haven't tried with cd's yet
2 more balloons...surprised my daughter has not inquired to the increasingly diminishing numbers of them, throughout the house!!
Awesome and thanks for the response! Could you tell me where I could buy a sound trigger, Now off course I know "the internet" , But could you recommend a good website for this stuff , Thanks in advance and I love your work, I am getting into photography more and more as I feel I have the gift for it, but just need to learn more about it, so sorry for all the brain picking , but It means a lot when you answer !
sure man pick away, NP, happy to help! of course, you'll need an external flash unit for this, not the on camera pop-up kind. I got mine from here (great service, fast shipping, good instructions), http://www.hiviz.com/kits/sk2.htm SK2-BB Sound Trigger Kit with Breadboard - $12.00 and what I failed to realize and or notice at the time, you'll also need a "pc cord to hotshoe" for the flash to be able to connect it to the circuit. like this: http://www.adorama.com/FAPCHSA.html _______________________________ more balloons! hey, I bought some glitter the other day @ Wally World...that'll be fun to load the balloons and see what happens...then of course I need to try ones filled with water @ some point!!
